Dale is a native born Fort Worth Texan, and has lived and
worked in the area for most of his life.  In 1978 following a family
tradition he began working as a 3rd generation union Stage
Hand in professional theater.  Also Dale, became a Texas Deputy
Sheriff and is now retired from that occupation.  Dale still resides
in Fort Worth and continues his work in theater and also serves
as orchestra manager for the Fort Worth Opera and has been on
the Opera's staff since 2002.  Dale is also a sword smith,
woodworker and a harp maker who is the joint owner of a harp
making business.
During the early 1970's, with the encouragement of his
grandfather Dale began to teach himself to play the acoustic
guitar, and after many years of playing he begin composing his
own music.  Dale's favorite genre of music became film scores
performed by symphony orchestra's and thus he began to create
his own musical story.   This story and music however was never
finished or published.
Many years later Dale became friends with harpist David S
Williams, who was the principle harpist of a local symphony
orchestra and was also a harp builder and technician. Dale then
joined Mr. Williams in his harp business and also begin to learn
to play the harp.  Also during this time Dale was completing his
first novel 'The Voyage of the ELAD'.  After completing his novel
Dale decided to revive the music he composed for his past
unfinished story and compose it again for his new story.
Dale is not a trained musician and has never taken any formal
music lessons.  He has learned music by listening, and placing
his hands on musical instruments and learning in his own way.
Dale has also had the honor and privilege  of knowing and
working with some of the worlds finest orchestral musicians.
